Max RPM: Sprint Races 7800 Max RPM: Endurance 7400 Mid Section: 16 inch adapts to high performance gearcase- supplied by Wayne Taylor of MADEFI Gear Case: Either Sportsmaster or CLE Propeller: Mazco of various sizes, depending on venue and conditions ACE Racing develop, build and tune their own engines. All engines start out as a late model Evinrude V6 block that is blueprinted and ported to specifications developed over years of testing. The crank, con-rods and pistons are balanced. Con-rods are lightened, crak tested, polished and finally shot pined for extra strength - this long process is one of the reasons that allow ACE Racing to maintain high and reliable engine speeds. Pistons/ rings are a modified WISECO product. Heads are modified to specifications developed by ACE Racing. Significant cooling changes are incorporated. Induction is via MADEFI slide front. Engine management including ignition and logging supplied by MOTEC. |
